Our research shows that most parents, teachers and children would welcome memories of each school year captured in a unique publication & we have streamlined the yearbook production process to make it quick & enjoyable. The cost of a yearbook depends upon the total number of pages in the book and the final number of books you order. See the price lists for full details. Payment will be in three stages: • The deposit of £300 • (sent with your production schedule) • The stage payment of £5 per book provisionally ordered • (sent with your 2nd proof and order confirmation) • The final invoice • (sent once your Yearbooks have been delivered) You will be given the contact details for your designer so that he/she can work closely with you on the design. You can have as little or as much input as you would like, and could even produce your own page layouts if you wanted, alternatively you could just sit back and let our team do all of the work fo you. The books can be produced in either a Hardback or Softback. The Hardback Yearbooks are traditionally casebound in a variety of colours, and the Softback Yearbooks have a gloss laminate cover allowing whatever design you want on the cover. Once you have decided to produce a Yearbook, you should… • Request an information pack for your Sample Book and ‘How to’ Guide. • Organise a Yearbook Team, decide on what sort of book and how many pages you think you may require. • Contact parents, students, and sponsors informing them you are producing a yearbook and approximately how much it will cost. • Send your Provisional Order Form to Schoolyearbooks.net and receive your page plans and a USB. • Decide with your team what you want to be in your Yearbook and organise the collection of all material (ideally text in Microsoft Word format and photos as jpgs,saved in page folders on the USB). • Schoolyearbooks.net will send you your first printed yearbook proof, check this through thoroughly and mark any amendments clearly in red pen. Include any late copy received by you and return proof and any additional files on the usb. • Receive final proof, sign order confirmation with final numbers and return to schoolyearbooks.net. • Receive confirmation from Schoolyearbooks.net of delivery day and time. For a variety of reasons, some parents and guardians do not wish the name and/or image of their child to appear in printed publications. At your request, we will ensure they do not appear individually and blur their face on group photographs. We only maintain one file copy for future reference, all other extra copies are sent with the order to your school as ‘overs’ We do not send out any school yearbooks for promotional purposes and all old copies are subsequently shredded for security reasons.
